Embarking on an imposing project like building or renovating a swimming pool, or taking on a large landscaping project, can be intimidating at best and exhausting at worst. We built National Pool Contractors to help you, the homeowner, find the resources, including a contractor, to help you plan, build, maintain or remodel your swimming pool and additional outdoor living spaces. At any point, you can visit our homeowner resources, request a quote from one of the contractors in our network, or search for a builder on your own using our featured builders directory. You can also use our directory as a place to view various types of pools and backyard designs, as many of the contractors in our directory have provided images of their completed projects.
Our Team
Our team has been connecting homeowners looking for estimates on their pool projects with small to medium-sized businesses in the swimming pool industry for over 20 years. Since 2004 we have helped over 1 million people find swimming pool professionals to bid on their projects. We started putting together the content of National Pool Contractors as a natural outgrowth of our experience working with businesses in the swimming pool industry and assisting homeowners, like you, looking for contractors to provide estimates on their projects. Our intention is to provide you with resources that can assist you prepare for each stage of your pool build, maintenance, and remodel, as well as to provide you with information about other outdoor living projects.

The contents of our homeowner resources blog are designed to address the most common questions we’ve been asked by homeowners over the years, as well as to provide visitors with additional information about swimming pools and other outdoor living projects. Most of our articles are related to the planning, building, maintaining, and remodeling of swimming pools but we also share articles about other outdoor living projects, current trends, and other information we think homeowners will find relevant and interesting. Our Directory
Our admiration for the contractors we have worked with over the years who build fantastic pools and outdoor living spaces that we have worked with over the years, and for the homeowners who are earnestly searching for the right contractors to help them create the backyard of their dreams, or just fix their leaking pool, inspired us to build our directory. Currently our directory showcases a curated selection of featured swimming pool professionals that are in our current network of contractors. These are builders we have worked with for many years and we wanted to feature them as we build out our directory listing. New contractors in our directory create a listing to broaden their reach to homeowners looking for the right swimming pool professional. We encourage visitors to use the directory to glean ideas for their own projects as many of the contractors have provided images of their completed work, to showcase in their listing. Getting A Quote From A Contractor In Our Network
When you are ready to speak to a contractor about your project, select any “tell us about your project” or “get a quote” button or link and we will try to match the service you want an estimate for with at least one contractor in our network. Currently most of the contractors in our directory are also members of our network. The contractors in our network are companies who want us to match them with homeowners who live in their service area and are interested in getting estimates on the services they provide. We take pride in personally reviewing and matching your project to a professional in our network. All builders in our network are licensed professionals, where required. If you experience any issues, let us know. We use the same criteria for selecting contractors in our network as we do for adding a new contractor to our directory. How We Match Homeowners with Contractors
Our process to match you with a contractor is simple. We gather a few details about your project when you complete estimate form. Then we personally match your project to local pool professionals in our network. Once you’re connected, you will work directly with the pool builder to set an appointment and discuss your project for your free estimate.
